Trayo

Privacy policy

Last updated 31 October 2026 · Applies to the Trayo Android app and trayo.app

Trayo is made by BufferSol Technologies ("we"). We built Trayo to work without an account, and most of your data never leaves your phone. We don't sell your data and we don't show ads.

What stays on your phone

Android's own Auto Backup may copy this local data to your Google account, under Google's terms. You can turn that off in Android settings.

What's sent to our servers, and when

Processors

Cloudflare (hosting for our API), MongoDB Atlas (database for backups and subscription status), Stripe (payments), Google (Sign-In, Google Pay, Android), PostHog (analytics), Sentry (crash reports), Expo (app updates). If we ever switch Android purchases to Google Play Billing, RevenueCat processes purchase receipts. Each processes data only for us, under a data processing agreement.

How long we keep data

Backup data is kept while your account exists. Subscription and payment records are kept as tax and accounting law requires. Analytics and crash data are kept for up to 12 months.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under UK GDPR, Canada's PIPEDA, or US state laws such as the CCPA), you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, and to opt out of analytics. Email support@buffersoltech.com. We reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).

Deleting your data

In the app: Settings → Backup & account → Delete account. This deletes your cloud data and cancels any Trayo subscription. Without the app, see Delete your account. Uninstalling the app removes everything stored on the phone.

Children

Trayo is intended for adults (18+). We don't knowingly collect data from children.

Health information

Trayo is a personal tracking tool. It does not provide dental or medical advice, and we never share your wear data with advertisers or data brokers.
